The Bullish team has a long-standing tradition of hosting Office Hours for founders (and aspiring founders) building consumer products and services. Last year we hosted nearly a dozen sessions for founders based on their locations, verticals, and other topic areas of interest.
A core piece of Bullish's own history centers on when Founder and Managing Partner Mike Duda attended First Round Capital’s open office hours in 2009 to pressure-test his idea for what we know as Bullish today.
We hope to extend the same access and opportunity to founders building the next generation of great consumer brands.
Entrepreneurship is hard, and the venture capital landscape can be intimidating. Our Office Hours are an opportunity for founders to connect with Bullish in a low-stakes, non-evaluative setting.

About Office Hours
Who are Bullish Office Hours for?
Bullish Office Hours are for US-based founders (or aspiring founders) of B2C companies. Your company could be in the “just an idea” stage to “considering an exit.”
What can I expect from Bullish Office Hours?
Office Hours are 20-minute Zoom sessions with a Bullish General Partner and Investor. The time can be used for pitch practice, business plan feedback, marketing advice, or however you’d like to spend the time to talk about your business.
How should I prepare for Office Hours?
- Have an ask. Office hours are first and foremost intended to be useful. Tell us what you're hoping to get out of the conversation - whether that's pitch feedback, fundraising guidance, brand brainstorming, or just someone to talk to about an obstacle you're facing.
- Make it a dialogue. This isn’t Shark Tank - we don’t need to hear a 20-minute pitch. We want to be useful and constructive in any way possible.
- Be brief, high-level. Come with a brief, high-level overview of what you're building or want to build. You don't have to have a fully-formed pitch, but it helps to ground these conversations in a clear description of your company or idea.
