Daisy is the first national brand in smart home technology integration. Since our investment in Daisy, the Agency at Bullish has been supporting the company to help redefine how smart homes are positioned, marketed, and serviced in an increasingly complex category.

We led Daisy’s transformation from a premium installation business into an end-to-end smart home services brand, unlocking recurring revenue and driving significant growth through strategic positioning, brand identity, and a first-of-its-kind consumer campaign.

Being exceptional at installation wasn’t enough to differentiate or scale the business – Daisy had to create a brand that could capitalize across more of the customer journey in order to grow recurring revenue. 

Through more than 40 hours of field research, including ride-alongs and homeowner interviews, we learned that even though every smart home will degrade over time, homeowners want the magic without the management. That insight revealed the true opportunity: repositioning Daisy as a long-term home service partner as systems evolve and household needs change.

The redesigned brand identity is technical yet warm, with a more premium quality that technicians feel proud to wear and homeowners are confident welcoming into their homes.

For a first-of-its-kind DTC marketing pilot, we developed a creative campaign, Don’t sweat the tech, leading with service messages (rather than installation).

The campaign launched in the Bay Area, a market clogged with generic AI, SaaS, and FinTech ads. We turned to the media plan to sharpen the creative, developing hyper-targeted contextual messages.
