Wolf and Shepherd had made a name for themselves with athletically-inspired classic dress shoes, but they were ready to evolve into a sport-forward modern footwear brand.
At the brand’s core sat two things: speed and achievement. “Make it faster” was a common refrain — not to do things faster, but to make them feel faster. We needed to combine elevated style with speed.
We built a modern fashion brand that subtly infused with athletics, pulling from the product roadmap to ensure we could bridge the gap to their future state, and introducing a toolkit for them to continue to evolve.
The system is built on winning, and at the core sat our bannered W that was integrated in the wordmark as well as a series of monograms and badges.
We blended sport and elegance, creating Olympian-esque details that felt at home in a fashion setting while also signaling speed and achievement.
